Safety Day 1 – Part 2 – Walking Working Surfaces / Fall Protection Awareness Training – North
This safety awareness course educates workers about fall hazards and the proper use of Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS). OSHA identifies fall hazards as posing a significant risk of death or serious injury in general industry workplaces. Topics include OSHA Subpart D and Subpart M requirements, types of fall protection systems, hands-on equipment demonstration including harness inspection and donning and doffing a PFAS, calculating fall clearance distance, and rescue plan components. Instructor brings all audio/visual equipment, a small ladder, harness, lanyard, and variety of PPE samples. All students receive a Completion of Training Certificate (1 Yr. Expiry).
