Part 1 – Ergonomics (Office + Industrial): This course provides an educational overview of ergonomics in both office and industrial settings. The use of ergonomic principles helps reduce stress and eliminate injuries associated with overuse of muscles, bad posture, and repetitive motions. Topics include OSHA and CDC best practices, musculoskeletal disorder identification, workplace risk factor evaluation, the Revised NIOSH Lifting Equation, and group exercises including a mini risk assessment and lifting techniques.

Part 2 – Safe Use of Mechanical Equipment (Forklift / Overhead Crane & Hoisting): This course covers the basic operation and safe use of Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) and Overhead Cranes at an awareness level. Topics include OSHA 1910.176, .178, .179, .184, inspection checklists, rated capacity, performing safe lifts, and worksite hazard prevention. Hands-on activities include a remote control forklift exercise, center of gravity game, and build-your-own hoist activity. Completion of Training Certificate issued (3 Yr. Expiry).
