Hilda Mera, Co-founder and CEO of S&A Auto Center, has led the certified minority and women-owned auto repair business in Northern NJ since 2013. With an Associate in Accounting from Essex County College, she and her husband, auto technician Jose Masache, built their shop from the ground up with vision and determination. Featured in Forbes, HOLA! Magazine, and Destination Newark, Hilda has earned honors including Business of the Year, VIP Woman of the Year, Top 100 Leaders in Transportation and Automotive, and the Community Champion Award from Rising Tide Capital’s RISE competition. A graduate of programs with SHCCNJ, HEPT, LETS, the Dr. Yasmin Davidds Leadership Institute, and Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Hilda is recognized for entrepreneurial excellence and community impact.
