The historic Count Basie Center for the Arts, in the ever-growing and beautiful downtown Red Bank, New Jersey, is seeking a part-time attentive and reliable Maintenance/Porter.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Facilities, the Maintenance/Porter will support the facilities department in maintaining all restrooms and public areas during performances in the Basie’s multiple locations. Our ideal candidate must be hard-working, attentive, punctual, and exercise good judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain cleanliness of all restroom facilities and monitor to ensure safe operations
· Sweep, mop, empty trash, restock supplies, and respond to clean up emergencies
· Comply with all safety and health regulations
· Continually monitor all trash and recycling bins in the lobby and bars
· Maintain the highest level of customer service and make sure customers are helped or responded to in a professional manner
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Must have knowledge and experience in cleaning methods
· Light knowledge of plumbing and electric is required
· Ability to communicate well with supervisor and staff
· Willingness to uphold company standards for safety and efficiency
· Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, and stoop
· Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
· Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Requisitos:
· Debe tener conocimientos y experiencia en métodos de limpieza.
· Se requiere conocimiento mínimo de plomería y electricidad.
