NJCIC Immigrant Children and Youth Walk 2026

Walk with us to help New Jersey’s immigrant children find safety, opportunity, and a brighter future.

Here are all the need-to-know details for NJCIC's special event:  

• Date

  • Saturday, October 10, 2026

• Time

  • Check-in plus distribution of t-shirts and materials begins at 9:30 AM.

  • The walk begins promptly at 10:30 AM. 

• Meet Up Location

  • Gazebo @ Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07305

  • Note: This link brings you to a gazebo where we will gather as a group before the walk starts. This gazebo is easily visible from Parking Lot D and two nearby landmarks within the park: the Hank Gallo Community Center and a restaurant known as The View. 

• Parking + Travel

  • For those driving to the event, Parking Lot D is a 2-minute walk from our meet-up location. There are two additional parking lots in the park, and street parking is available on West Side Avenue. 

  • For those using public transportation, the West Side Avenue park entrance is a 12-minute walk from the West Side Avenue stop on the Hudson Bergen-Light Rail. 

• The Walk

  • Following opening remarks by NJCIC's Executive Director, our walk will consist of up to 2 laps around a beautiful lake near our meet-up location. 2 laps are approximately 1 mile.
