The Foreign Supplier Verification Program for Human and Animal Food (FSVP) is a program that importers must have in place to verify that their foreign suppliers are producing food at the same level of public health protection as that of the preventive controls or produce safety regulations. This training course focuses on the importance of having Foreign Supplier Verification Programs in place. It helps participants understand the different types of hazards, and how to identify them, and provides an understanding of how to tailor supplier verification activities to their unique risks and characteristics.
