This course will cover the following modules\;\n\n\n\nMilling Tools\, Material.\n\nTool geometry\, endmill types and uses\n\nMaterial consideration in milling. Introduction to feeds and speeds\n\nMill Work Holding\n\nIntroduction to different types of work holding (vises\, clamps\, and magnetic plates) and their uses in CNC milling\n\nCNC Mill setup\n\nFamiliarize the students with CNC Mill setup which includes reading and understanding the setup sheet\, machine Power Up\, jogging the machine\, loading cutting tools in the tool changer\, setting the work offsets\, setting the tool length offset\, loading\, checking\, and running the program\n\nCNC Programing\n\nUnderstanding absolute and incremental positioning\n\nIntroduction to CNC G codes (G00\, G01) linear interpolation and circular interpolation\n\nPreparatory G codes\n\nInch / Metric Selection (G20\, G21)\n\nWork Coordinate Selection (G54-59)\n\nTool Length Compensation (G43)\n\nReference point and return (G28)\n\nAnother way to return to machine zero (G53)\n\nCircular Plane Selection (G17\, G18\, G19)\n\nMiscellaneous M codes\n\nProgram format\n\nCanned cycles\n\nDrilling canned cycles\n\nCircular pocket Milling\n\nCutter compensation (G40\, G41\, G42)\n\nSpace is limited\, register early to ensure your spot.\n\n\n\nWe must receive your payment prior to the class to guarantee your participation.
