STATEWIDE HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHAIRMAN, CARLOS MEDINA, WINS NEW JERSEY STATE GOVERNOR’S JEFFERSON AWARD

Lyndhurst, NJ – Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of NJ Chairman and Robinson Aerial Surveys President, Carlos Medina, has been selected as an honoree in the 2017 New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Awards. He was honored with the CFNJ Community Pillar Award.  

The Governor’s Advisory Council on Volunteerism will present Carlos Medina with his award at the dinner reception and ceremony on June 19 5:30 PM at the Newark Museum.  Honorees of the New Jersey State Governor's Jefferson Award achieve measurable community impact and represent outstanding acts of public service, without the expectation of recognition or compensation. Recipients demonstrate unique vision, dedication, and tenacity of heroic proportion and serve as inspiration for others.
 
A successful business owner, Carlos Medina was elected Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey’s Chairman in 2012 and serves since as a volunteer Chairman working long hours for the NJ business community.  Carlos dedicates many hours to the Chamber and helped turn the financials around in an organization that was struggling in 2012.  Carlos sought to reboot the Chamber’s struggling membership, community reach, and overall presence.  He created a
familia (family) that has led to aid in the growth and sustainability of the New Jersey small business community.
